Much more than just a smoke show
Crafting our Whisky Smoky was a delicate balancing act. We wanted to recreate that fragrant smoke that, ethereal and subtle, gently permeates the air. To achieve this, we entrusted the creation of our barrels to the expert hands at Tonnellerie Quintessence, whose combination of technical mastery and innovative craftsmanship transforms premium oak into a remarkable conduit for flavour and aroma.
Made from Québec-grown grains, our Whisky Smoky is double-distilled in our Charentais alembic still before maturing patiently in our aging cellar. It is then finished for six to eight months in peat-smoked barrels, a meticulous process that deepens its aromatic complexity while preserving the integrity of the spirit. The result is a whisky that expresses both refinement and a profound connection to its Québec roots.
The broad, supple peat notes unfold with elegance, gradually yielding to a gentle oak-driven sweetness. These layers evolve seamlessly into a long, enveloping finish.
Served neat or over ice, Whisky Smoky reveals the full depth of its character. In cocktails, it lends a subtle, sophisticated smokiness that elevates every ingredient around it.
