Bleuet
Generosity, rooted close to home
In the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, there is a saying that a single blueberry is enough to make a pie. This charming exaggeration speaks to the pride of a region and its enduring passion for this small fruit, an emblem of Quebec’s terroir. Plump and delicately sweet, the blueberry lends itself beautifully to the creation of a liqueur.
The secret behind our Bleuet? Carefully selected fruit and the precision of its craftsmanship. Our master distiller’s role is deceptively simple: to achieve the perfect balance between a concentrated extract of luscious, perfectly ripe blueberries, alcohol, and sugar. From there, time takes over. A maturation period of four to five months allows the flavours to integrate and develop, revealing a depth and complexity that are impossible to rush.
On the nose, lightly tart aromas evoke freshly picked blueberries at their peak. The palate broadens into a rounder, more generous expression, unveiling the richness and intensity of cooked fruit.
While Bleuet shines as a versatile cocktail ingredient, its character remains incomparable when enjoyed neat or simply over a single ice cube.
