Cayenne Pepper Syrup



  • 1 cup (250 ml) water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper


  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the sugar and stir until it completely dissolves.
  • Add the cayenne pepper and let it macerate for two days.
  • Filter through a sieve.
  • Cayenne pepper syrup can be stored for several weeks in the refrigerator in a glass container.
